Stephanie R. Fajardo, Attorney at Law
Stephanie R. Fajardo was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina.
She attended Bishop England High School on Daniel Island where she
dedicated her time to the Cross Country team, Debate Team and an
Honors and AP level course-load. After graduation from high school in
2003, Stephanie moved to Columbia, South Carolina to attend the
University of South Carolina to follow her dream of becoming an
attorney. While studying at the University of South Carolina, Stephanie
was a recipient of the Life Scholarship as well as a University Scholar
Scholarship as she pursued her studies in Philosophy and English
Literature. Stephanie graduated cum laude from the University of South
Carolina in May of 2007.
Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, Stephanie became a
member of the University of South Carolina School of Law Class of 2010.
While in law school, Stephanie became a law clerk at The Finney Law
Firm, Inc. where she devoted her spare time to assisting Attorney Adam
Whitsett and Attorney Jerry Finney with their caseloads. Stephanie
developed litigation experience through years of working on countless
criminal, civil and domestic relations issues. Stephanie was also a member
of the University of South Carolina School of Law’s Criminal Practice
Clinic during which Stephanie successfully represented a wrongfully
accused woman to a not guilty verdict.
Upon her passing of the Bar in 2010, Stephanie became an Associate at
The Finney Law Firm, Inc. Stephanie is a member of the South Carolina
Criminal Defense Lawyers, South Carolina Association for Justice,
Richland County Bar Association, and South Carolina Bar Young Lawyer’
s Division. She is licensed to practice in the State of South Carolina as
well as in the U.S. District Court for the Fourth Judicial Circuit.
Stephanie’s practice areas include Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation and
Domestic Relations.
